Are you a nursing mother on campus in need of a private place to use a breast pump or to nurse your baby? Here are some places on campus that have space available.
While some women prefer to nurse their babies in a private, quiet, distraction-free environment, it is important to stress that this is a choice, not a requirement. Kansas law (K.S.A. 43-158) gives women the legal right to nurse her baby in public. Please visit the following La Leche League website for specific, detailed information.
If you know of other available stations on campus or are willing to offer space in your office for either pumping or breastfeeding, please contact us to let us know!
