Alemayhu Ayanaw, Stefani Gerson, Tyler Blair, Tiffany Spriggs, Nathan Magnuson, and Michelle Smith
Alemayehu Ayanaw is in his first year of the Higher Education Administration master's program, and is a graduate intern for Fraternity and Sorority Life. Alemayhu completed his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Black Studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia. He also minored in Political Science there. At Mizzou, he was very involved in campus life as he served on executive boards of several student organizations. With his fraternity he held several leadership roles, including Chapter President, Membership Intake Coordinator, and Assistant Area II Director. The knowledge obtained during his undergraduate experience and his extensive campus involvement has been the driving force in his pursuit of a graduate degree in Higher Education Administration.
Stefani Gerson is currently in her second year in the Higher Education Administration master’s program. She is also a second year graduate intern for the Student Involvement and Leadership Center with a focus on the Emily Taylor Women’s Resource Center. Stefani is originally from Overland Park, Kansas. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from the University of Kansas in 2006. Rock Chalk Jayhawk, GO KU!!!
Tyler Blair is currently in his first year in the Higher Education Administration master's program, is a graduate intern in a SILC intern, working with Fraternity and Sorority Life. Tyler is originally from Hingham, Massachusetts. He completed his bachelor's degree in Sociology/Anthropology with a certification in Organizational Studies at Denison University.
Tiffany Spriggs is currently in her second year in the Higher Education Administration master's program. She is also a second year graduate intern for the Student Involvement and Leadership Center with a focus on lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender programs. Tiffany is originally from Princeton, West Virginia. She completed her BA in Exercise Science from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia.
Nathan Magnuson is in his first year of the Higher Education Administration master's program and is the graduate intern for Nontraditional Student Services. Nathan is originally from Kansas City, Missouri. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee.
Michelle Smith is in her first year in the Higher Education Administration master’s program. As a Student Involvement and Leadership Center graduate intern, she focuses on Leadership Development. Michelle is originally from Port Arthur, TX and received her bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies-Early Childhood Education at the University of Houston-Main Campus. Through the Leadership Development program, Michelle hopes to encourage collegiate students to become successful leaders who will then encourage others to do the same.
